ARCHAEO RESEARCH has a full-time, experienced staff with backgrounds in cultural anthropology, ethnohistory,
prehistoric archaeology, historical archaeology, classical archaeology, education and cultural resource
management (CRM). Our main areas of interest in North America are the Northwest Coast, the Subarctic, and the
Interior Plateau. In the Old World, we have experience in Greek, Roman, Near Eastern, North African and European
archaeology, research and history from the third millennium BC to the Late Middle Ages. When additional
expertise is required, associate specialists in archaeology, architecture, engineering, history, and related disciplines can be called upon.
ARCHAEO RESEARCH has access to a full range of research facilities. Our office is supported by a number of computer applications:
word-processing and desktop publication; World Wide Web, multimedia, print and CD-ROM production; computer-assisted mapping and
drafting; geographical information systems (GIS); advanced Internet research capabilities; graphics, databases, spreadsheets, financial
controls and project management. Our facilities also include a library of more than 4000 documents, audio/video production and
post-production equipment, and transcribers. We also have access to university libraries and departmental reading rooms, the B.C. Archives
and Records Service, and British Columbia Government ministry libraries. When needed, we have subcontracting capabilities in subsurface
geophysical surveying, floral and faunal analysis, archaeological dating, pottery and finds analysis, and linguistic research.
